Ebba Fransén-Waldhör

Ebba Fransén Waldhör is an artist and designer. In her work she explores conceptual design approaches to textile and spatial design. Her interest lies in hybrid forms of spatiality and the linking of innovative materials and technologies with craft processes. At DXM, as part of the Adaptex project, she is researching the integration of shape memory alloys into textiles and how they can be used in an architectural context.

Her work has been exhibited at MoMA PS 1 (New York), Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), and Kunst-Werke (Berlin), among others. Prior to joining DXM, she was involved in a long-term research project on responsive textiles at the University of the Arts.
