Maxie Schneider is an architect graduated from the University of the Arts, Berlin. Since 2017 she works as an research associate in the department of textile and surface design at the weißensee school of art.
Her interest in membrane architecture and textile composites brought her to DXM, where she researches responsive facade solutions for sun shading as part of the Adaptex project.
In addition to the use of digital tools, she has put a special focus on experimental materials research and prototyping. She develops innovative constructions between textile manufacturing methods and hybrid aesthetics.
